Minibus Executive Travel was started by Mr Peter Evans in 1996. Since then, MET as it is now better known, has become the largest Midi-Coach company in Hertfordshire, with 25 vehicles, ranging from 16 seats, 23, 29, 33, 25, 40 and 51 seat coaches which compliment the fleet.

In general we usually keep our vehicles for up to four years then upgrade them. As well as standard vehicles we also have vehicles with toilets, tables, DVDs and air-conditioning. With this standard of coaches we have won the national award for the best midi-coach in its class, with our Mercedes 29 seater Beluga.

Our aim is quality at a competitive price. We will not cut corners, like any other industry you have to pay for quality.

Driver appearance is very important, therefore all drivers have company uniform are equipped with mobile phones and satellite navigation systems.

The market varies from the state school sector and private school, to tour operators particularly in the summer, school days out, English Language schools, day trips to seaside, zoo, garden centres etc etc. Airport transfers, corporate events, Ascot, The Derby, Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon and many more, theatre bookings into London, and even Hen Parties where the drivers take their life in their hands.

This in an important time for MET as we have been short listed for two award. 'The Entrepreneur' for yours truly, and 'The Growing Business Award for North London and Watford .'

Sport is very important to me and we sponsor many private schools, and sporting activities when funds are available. We are at present sponsoring a top ranked England junior table tennis player.
